For the first time ever, the Franchise Canada Show made its way to the grounds of Exhibition Place in Toronto, making it the Canadian Franchise Association’s (CFA) best show yet! With nearly 3,500 prospective small business owners in attendance, we set record numbers and helped match entrepreneurial Canadians across the GTA with some of Canada’s hottest brands.

On October 13 & 14, prospective franchisees flocked to the Enercare Centre to network with franchisors, attend informative franchise legal and financial seminars and hear from successful franchisees during our Franchisee Spotlight Series.

Both days started with a VIP Panel Discussion moderated by Fishman Canada’s Lisa Raffaele. VIP ticket holders got to hear from our expert panel, which included a multi-unit franchisee, franchise consultant, funding expert, and legal expert, with attendees getting the opportunity to ask their pressing questions to the industry leaders.

In-between networking with over 100 exhibiting franchisors, including Booster Juice, Tim Hortons,, Boston Pizza and more, attendees had the opportunity to attend legal and financial seminars. Covering a variety of pertinent topics, including how to finance a business and negotiate a franchise agreement, these seminars gave prospective franchisees an efficient overview of what they could expect when taking the plunge into business ownership.

The Franchise Canada Show’s Franchisee Spotlight Series also returned in full-swing with successful franchisees taking the stage to share their journey into franchising, give their personal franchise advice and take questions from the audience. Speakers included franchisees from Booster Juice, Oxford Learning, Boston Pizza, The UPS Store, and Kumon.
